¶ Randall-Stevens was a professional singer, and a veteran of both world wars serving in the RAF. He founded an esoteric order known as The Knights Templar of Aquarius. Beginning in 1925, he claims that he began receiving psychic voices and began to dictate what they were saying. Essentially he was channeling using automatic writing. This included images of his source entities and diagrams of the Sphinx and Pyramids as well as text.
He claimed that his sources were several entities that had lived in ancient Egypt and Atlantis, including the Atlantean whom the Egyptians worshiped as the god Osiris. These entities gave him a history of humankind going back to Lemuria, then Atlantis, and told how Egypt was a colony of Atlantis and the destination for the survivors of the destroyed continent. He states that the pyramids and the tunnels under them were constructed as temples of initiation that were sacred to Osiris, with the entrance under the Sphinx. One would Enter through a doorway below the paws of the Sphinx, then go through a series of chambers with trials and rituals in each one. One of these subterranean temples supposedly contained an artificial lake.
Included in this volume are several plans and illustrations, including a "Half-Sectional Elevation of Sphinx, Subterranean Temple, Causeway and Passages", showing hidden tunnels underneath the Sphinx.
