¶ Well-written and plotted mystery novel hinging on an extra-marital affair, the "indiscretion" of the title. The author was a practicing occultist, a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and head of the Amen-Ra Temple in Edinburgh, he also wrote occult thrillers - MORAG THE SEAL (1910), FOR THE SOUL OF A WITCH (1910), and THE DEVIL'S MISTRESS (1915).
