¶ A biographical memoir of Aleister Crowley, originally issued in 1951 as ALEISTER CROWLEY. The Man : The Mage : The Poet. The text of this edition appears to be edited; the bibliography by Edward Noel Fitzgerald "THE WORKS OF ALEISTER CROWLEY" which appears at the rear of the 1951 edition is not included in this edition. Cammell (1890 - 1968) was a well-known Scottish poet and writer; he was also a friend (although not a follower) of Crowley. Cammell had an interest in the occult and was keenly involved in spiritualism and psychical research, he was for a time editor of "Light" Magazine.
