¶ Supernatural tales, including "The True Story of a Vampire". This edition bears a new Introduction by David Tibet and reproduces a photographs of Count Stenbock, his tombstone and his manor house, Withdeane House, near Brighton. In addition to the seven tales in the original edition there are three additional stories collected here, one of which, "The Other Side", is a previously uncollected werewolf story. Ron Weighell (1950–2020) was a British writer of fiction in the supernatural, fantasy and horror genre. Weighell's fiction is characterized by his knowledge of incunabula, architecture, art and art symbolism, mysticism, and the occult, and pays homage to his two primary influences, M. R. James and Arthur Machen. Books from his personal library are mostly unknown on the market, and having his copy of STUDIES OF DEATH is a very special occurence indeed.
