Octavo, original red cloth lettered in black on upper panel. 206 pp., illustrated, colour frontispiece of fly fishing ties, b&w portrait of the author fishing in Quesnel River, reproductions of b&w photos throughout. Newspaper account of the author's death and funeral attached to verso of the front free flyleaf, with some offsetting to the half-title leaf. Inscription in ink on the front free flyleaf, "To Mac from Scott / Christmas 1935". Some small stains but a very good clean copy, much nicer than usual (as the book was usually heavily abused... by being taken on fishing and hunting trips in BC). Item #314369
