This copy is from the Margetts collection (Dr. Edward L. Margetts, Dept of Psychiatry, University of British Columbia) with his name stamp & his signature & date & place of acquisition in ink on the front endpapers (Victoria, 1969). Edward Margetts, had a massive library (60,000 volumes, we were told) that was purchased en bloc by a Vancouver bookseller in the early 2000's; I'm pretty sure we bought this directly from them back in the day, and here it is, resurfaced. Very good clean copy, with the bookseller ticket of Samuel Weiser, Bookseller (117 Fourth Ave, NYC) on the front paste-down. The front panel of the dust jacket, depicting Crowley's full-colour painting "Four Red Monks Carrying a Black Goat Across The Snows To Nowhere" has been folded and tipped onto the front free endpaper.
