A very good clean copy in the original pictorial dust jacket which bears a reproduction of a photograph of an aged Crowley smoking his pipe. The jacket is lightly frayed at the spine tips, slightly browned and shows some foxing on the spine panel, the red spine lettering is also quite faded. An attractive copy. Item #314334
¶ A biographical memoir of Aleister Crowley. Cammell (1890 - 1968) was a well-known Scottish poet and writer; he was also a friend (although not a follower) of Crowley. Cammell had an interest in the occult and was keenly involved in spiritualism and psychical research, he was for a time editor of "Light" Magazine.
