¶ The Lamb Inn in Bristol was the site of a notable poltergeist case in the 18th century, with allegations of witchcraft and a "night spirit" tormenting the family of the innkeeper, Richard Giles. This is a facsimile reprint of "A Narrative of Some Extraordinary Things That happened to Mr. Richard Gile's Children, at the Lamb, Without Lawford's-Gate, Bristol; Supposed to be the Effect of Witchcraft...." published in Bristol by R. Edwards, Broad-Street, in 1800.
