Rose at the Indian Press Ltd., Calcutta, and Published at the same Address by W.A.R. Collins for Wm. Collins & Co. Ltd, Glasgow & London". The front flap states "Retail Price in India Rs. 2-8", the rear flap is an illustrated advertisement for Gibbs S.R. Toothpaste, the rear panel advertises 26 "Other Titles in This Series", Spine panel worn and frayed; pencil name on first leaf; a good to very good copy in the original pictorial wrappers. ¶ These wartime Collins paperback editions are all extremely scarce; so much so that there is no complete listing of titles published. It is known that there were Indian editions of some Collins White Circle paperbacks, but there is no complete listing of these extant.
