Octavo, original oatmeal cloth heavily decorated in gilt on spine and front panel, top edges gilt. 209 pp. This Canadian Edition is most likely bound from the sheets of the American edition (Appleton, 1896), here with new preliminaries bearing the Morang title page and a new binding with "MORANG" at base of spine panel. The print run of the Canadian Issue of this book was miniscule. Early Canadian Bookseller's ticket on rear endpaper (H. Morley & Co., Booksellers & Stationers, New Westminster, BC) on rear endpaper, early Christmas inscription on front free endpaper (faded, or perhaps intentionally obscured); a touch of light foxing.
