Includes first editions of a number of rare witchcraft volumes (including the first edition of Reginald Scot's THE DISCOVERIE OF WITCHCRAFT (1584); the second edition of the MALLEUS MALEFICARUM (1491), as well as Francis Barrett's THE MAGUS (1801), Aleister Crowley's THE BOOK OF THOTH (1944), and many others. Maggs Bros were located at the time in "The Haunted House" at 50 Berkeley Square.
