¶ Letters to her grandmother by Frida Helena Brackley include accounts of her visits to Canada, California, Hawaii, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia & New Zealand. Frida took the 'Empress of Britain' from England to Quebec, then trans-Canada Toronto to Vancouver via the CPR; then through the Gulf Islands to Victoria, BC "with its green cliffy golf links and English aspect". A rare book, Worldcat lists only 4 copies: Hamilton Library, University of Hawaii at Manoa; Alexander Turnbull Library - National Library of New Zealand; State Library of New South Wales; and University of Melbourne Libraries.
