A very good to near fine copy, very nice, in a partial pictorial dust jacket. The front panel and flap are mostly intact, the spine lacks the bottom 2-inches and the rear panel and rear flap are missing. The book is uncommonly scarce; inscribed, even in a partial dust jacket, it is rare. Item #312373
¶ Romance novel, published right at the end of World War Two, set in London and "the Canadian Rockies" - according to the blurb at the beginning of the book. Technically, however, the book is set in Vancouver and the town of Nelson, in the Kootenay mountains of BC. Doris Howe (died, 1994) was a British Author who travelled to British Columbia and wrote several romance novels set there.
