Original dark blue cloth lettered in gilt on spine and front panel, gilt borders and a small gilt device of a garland of holly on front panel, top edges trimmed, others untrimmed. 197 pp + [2] pp ads at rear. Two bookplates on the front endpapers; one, on the paste-down, is just an image of a book and a large "W, the other, on the free endpaper, depicts a woman reading a book and is for 'Winifred Joseph / Her Book'. Some minor interior staining, cloth worn at edges and spine tips, and with a small split about 1" long at base of front spine hinge; small scratches to cloth; very good overall. Item #311910
