First leaf displays the title THE LEATHER BUDGET, with an illustrated advertisement for Beal Bros Oak Tanned Harness Leather, final leaf has advertisements for Royal Oil Co.; Arbuthnot Bros. & Co. Printers; The J.D. King Co. Ltd (Boots, Shoes, Slippers); The Liverpool, London, & Globe Insurance Co. (Jos. B. Reed, Agent); & James Bain & Son, Booksellers and Stationers. The two-page inner spread prints THE MAPLE LEAF, OUR EMBLEM DEAR: A Canadian national Song Dedicated to the Volunteers of Canada, Words and Music by Alex. Muir. Stamp of Wm. Morrison, Harness & Trunk Manuf'r, Whips, Combs, Brushes &C, Ingersoll, Ont on 3rd leaf. Cheap paper browned, chipped at edges with some loss, minor stains. This seems to the same as OCLC Number 1007650475 held by Library and Archives Canada, although for some reason that is described as "3 pages". In any event, certainly a very rare item. Very Good.
