¶ Originally published in book form in 1898, AbraMelin's book is considered one of the finest of all Grimoires. Instead of endless instructions on cutting hazel wands at exact times and drawing obscure sigils on the vellum of unborn calves, it is instead a process of purification and meditation in order to invoke one's "Holy Guardian Angel", i.e., one's higher self or subconscious mind.
