A portfolio with ten loosely laid in 12 x 15 inch black and white illustrations. Included is artwork illustrating Lord Dunsany's "When the God's Slept" and "Night and Morning" by artists Louise Guthrie, Lucille Brown, Beatrice P. Rand, Annie C.B. McPhail, and Michi Hashimoto. Covers lightly marked, small chips to edges of title label, ties torn and frayed, small tear and minor cloth loss to lower edge of front joint; title plate has small edge tears and an old corner crease. One plate (No.2) has a faint crease across its image area near the lower border, another (No. 4) has two closed tears from its upper edge into its image area and small bits of cellophane tape on verso. Overall, a very good example of a very scarce and beautiful production.
