Frontispiece portrait of Lord Dunsany and fifteen other black and white plates, publisher's device on title page. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "Mar 1917 / To my dear friend Stuart Walker / who has done much for Dunsany, more for the drama in America, / and most of all for 'the least of / these' / Edward Hale Bierstadt." Beneath the inscription Dunsany has signed the book with his quill pen: "Counter signed / Dunsany". Illustrated bookplate of Stuart Walker [by David Stuart Walker] on front pastedown. Spine panel dull, boards a trifle rubbed, a very good copy. An excellent associational copy: Stuart Walker produced many plays for Dunsany in America; one section of the book prints some correspondence between Walker and Dunsany.
