Fourth American edition. Octavo. Red cloth boards gilt titles on front cover and spine, in dust jacket. 138 pages. Publisher's device on title page. Ink name and date (1921) on front free endpaper, small pen initials to uper corner of rear free endpaper [FVS - Franklin Victor Spellman] Gilt lettering on spine oxidized, slight dampstain to upper page margins, otherwise a nice clean copy in the very scarce printed dust jacketwhich has small edge tears, some old cellophane tape support on the verso, and a partially chipped price label ($1.65) on the spine panel. Overall a very good book in a somewhat worn dust jacket. In this book... "'The Poet Speaks with Earth' is removed and 'The Mist' is substituted. Contents are slightly rearranged in the British and American editions." - Joshi and Schweitzer, page 6.
