First Edition. 12mo, original green buckram titled and with Celtic designs in gilt on spine and front panel. 174 pp. Illustrated throughout with black & white reproductions of artwork by the Pre-Raphaelites. Ink name on front endpaper, dated 1908, minor foxing, a near fine copy.

An excellent overview of the Pre-Rapaelite movement by Ford Madox Ford using his true surname, Hueffer. Hueffer was the grandson of the Pre-Raphaelite painter Ford Madox Brown. Artists covered by this work include Holman Hunt, Ford Madox Brown, D.G. Rossetti, J.E. Millais, Thomas Woolner, Charles Collins and others.

Oversized and sets are shipped at cost by whatever method you choose at the time of your order. Excessive shipping amounts will be quoted prior to processing an order.
For International orders, we will always use the least expensive form of Air Mail shipping, and we will notify the customer of any shipping costs which are excessive.
