Reprint, first issued in 1892. Octavo, original green cloth decorated in black on spine & front cover, gilt titles on spine. 151 pp. Illustrated throughout with black & white plates of Burne-Jones' artwork. Finely printed on glossy art paper. One tiny tear at spine head, a fine bright copy.


Biography of Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones (1833-1898), Pre-Raphaelite British artist and designer, best known for his collaborations with William Morris. The work discusses his decorative work in depth, including paintings, tapestries, stained glass and book design. Appended are a Chronological List of Finished Pictures, List of Unfinished Pictures, and list of Stained Glass works.

Oversized and sets are shipped at cost by whatever method you choose at the time of your order. Excessive shipping amounts will be quoted prior to processing an order.
For International orders, we will always use the least expensive form of Air Mail shipping, and we will notify the customer of any shipping costs which are excessive.
