Description

First Canadian edition. Sheets of the Doubleday, Page edition with new preliminaries and with the Canadian publisher's imprint at base of spine panel. Octavo, original pictorial blue cloth blocked in orange and yellow. Frontispiece with tissue guard, plus three additional colour plates inserted in the text, all by Robson. Christmas inscription, dated 1914, hinges cracking, cloth rubbed and worn at the edges; a good to very good copy. The Canadian edition is very uncommon.

To USA: Priority Mail is $22.50 for one book, $6.50 each additional book;
Overseas: International Air Mail Post is $35.00 for one book, $18.00 each additional book.

Oversized and sets are shipped at cost by whatever method you choose at the time of your order. Excessive shipping amounts will be quoted prior to processing an order.
For International orders, we will always use the least expensive form of Air Mail shipping, and we will notify the customer of any shipping costs which are excessive.

For time-sensitive orders or particularly valuable items, we can always ship Express at cost.
