Octavo, original blue cloth titled in gilt on front panel, spine panel elaborately decorated and titled in gilt. [388] pp + [32] pp catalogue at rear, dated 1909. Bookstamp of the Rosicrucian Fellowship, Seattle on front paste-down, small labels removed from front paste-down and also a small bookseller's ticket "Sold By Oriental Esoteric Library, Washington, DC", cloth slightly soiled and some browning to the text block; a very good copy. The first edition was issued by John Long in 1904; this Rider edition was published as part of their "Library of Occult Records" series.


An occult lost race novel by a well- known British clairvoyant who - while in a trance - led the police to the residence of the physician who supposedly committed the Jack-the-Ripper murders.

Oversized and sets are shipped at cost by whatever method you choose at the time of your order. Excessive shipping amounts will be quoted prior to processing an order.
For International orders, we will always use the least expensive form of Air Mail shipping, and we will notify the customer of any shipping costs which are excessive.
