Frontispieces with printed tissue guard, plus 62 additional tipped-in colour plates (34 total Vol. One, 30 in Vol. Two] with captioned tissues, plus numerous head- and tail-pieces, decorated title page, endpapers and binding design, all by Rackham. Ink inscription dated Xmas 1913 in the first book, tiny bit of light scattered foxing front & rear of both volumes; a few small scuffs & light rubbing to the bindings (principally on Vol. One]; a very good set, clean and bright, with all plates present and in uncreased pristine condition. An astonishingly beautiful set of books. Item #313068
