¶ The last anthology of Ghostly Tales edited by Asquith. Collects 27 supernatural tales by Elizabeth Bowen, Mary Fitt, Lord Dunsany, Margaret Lane, Robert Aickman, Marghanita Laski, Rosemary Timperley, Elizabeth Taylor, Nancy Spain and others, with an Introduction by L.P. Hartley. It should be noted that the Robert Aickman story included here, 'Ringing the Changes', is not only its first appearance in print but it is the first story by Aickman to be included in an anthology.
