Frontispiece by Sidney H. Sime, "The Hunting of the Unicorn" reproduced from a drawing. A old note in pencil on the verso of the frontispiece states "From Father O'Connor's library - the original father Brown, referring to Monsignor John O'Connor (1870 - 1952) the Irish Catholic parish priest who was the basis of G. K. Chesterton's fictional detective Father Brown. Minute bump to one upper corner, a fine, bright, clean copy in the original printed dust jacket which also is in fine condition. The jackets for this book were printed oversized and are about 1/2 - inch taller than the book, there is some minor creasing to this uper overhang on the jacket but this is a beautiful copy in the dust jacket.
