Anonymous, and unattributed, 'My Grandfather's Ghost Story' is a competent and interesting supernatural tale, with an attempt at rationalization at the end, but the protagonist decides to believe what he experienced, and to ignore the rationalized explanation. Uncollected in any way (to our knowledge). One might assume that as the volume is edited by Braddon - well known for her supernatural tales - that this was her work, but it does not appear to be. Interesting, and decidedly uncommon.
