Item #312422 THE LUCK OF THE STRONG. William Hope HODGSON.

London: Holden & Hardingham. [1920]. Second Edition. Hardcover. The first printing of the "Cheap Edition". Small octavo, original blue boards titled in black on spine panel. [251] pp. Cheap pulp paper lightly browned, as usual. Ink name on front pastedown, dated 1927. Spine panel and covers faded faded; rubbing to boards. Inner hinges are tight and uncracked. A very good copy of a cheaply produced book. Note: This is a variant publisher's binding; these Holden & Hardingham editions are usually encountered in red paper-covered boards with black lettering, but other styles exist - blue boards, green boards, tan boards, etc. Very Good.
