London: Eveleigh Nash. 1914. First Edition. Octavo, original red cloth lettered in gilt on spine panel, lettered in blind in a box bordered in blind on front panel. 219 pp (pp 220 - printer's imprint, pp 221-224 ads, including an ad for William Hope Hodgson's CARNACKI THE GHOST FINDER). Light foxing and dust soiling, a fine copy, in the original plain printed dust jacket, priced at 3s. 6d. on spine. The jacket has minor chipping at the edges, the worst being a 1-inch x 1/4 inch chip at base of spine; it is splttling along the folds, there is some old brown paper tape reinforcement on the verso, the spine panel is tanned and the lettering on the spine consequently a bit dull. A nice copy, the jacket, while fragile, is a rare survival. Item #312034
