WHAT DREAMS MAY COME. Cynthia ASQUITH.

WHAT DREAMS MAY COME.

London: James Barrie, 1951. First Edition, First Impression. Octavo, original green cloth cloth, gilt titles on spine. [255] pp. Light fading to cloth along spine, a bit more pronounced at head of spine panel. Light darkening to endpapers, and an old bookseller's ticket tipped onto the front free endpaper, (G.Ken Chapman Ltd - Chapman was a SF & F Specialist Bookseller who operated in London from the 1950's - 1970's.) The price ticket is removable but it's kind of a nice throwback to a gentler, quieter time in the world of book collecting. A very good, attractive copy in the original pictorial dust jacket, slightly ragged small chip at head of spine, price corner clipped. Item #312009

¶ The first collection of Asquith's own fiction published in the UK. Collects 8 weird and supernatural stories, including a few that were reprinted from the Arkham House book THIS MORTAL COIL (1947).
