Originally priced at 3/6 on the spine panel, this copy has a price ticket of 4/ mounted overtop of the original price, with the notation "Including Extra War Costs"; this would make this a later issue with a new price issued sometime around 1940. First issued in 1920 and reissued in 1923 in a 'cheaper' edition, both of these editions had plain printed jackets, this is the first edition to bear a decorative pictorial jacket.
