A Complete Set, All Published [Although Vol 2 No's 1-2 were issued in 1992]. Pagination is continous throught all issues, pp 1-[408]. Small pencil notes and marginalia to a couple of articles in the First Issue and in the margins of one page in Issue No 4 pertaining to the article on Ritual Magic by J.G. Yorke ("an extremely interesting and informative article, this has put me on the track!"). A near fine set. The journal was not a commercial success, and ceased publication in its second year. Individual issues are very scarce, complete sets are rare. Near Fine. Item #311106

¶ "Michael Juste" (Michael Houghton), the editor of this journal, was a poet, Crowleyite, publisher, and owner of the Atlantis Book Shop in London. THE OCCULT OBSERVER is filled with the writings of the aging post-War, post-Crowley, post-Theosophy, literate and sophisticated British occultists of the period, all dabbling eruditely in art, literature and magic.
