¶ The prophecies of Ursula Shipton, "Mother Shipton", perhaps the most famous witch in British History. Of this edition we can find no record, although it is similar to the 1797 pamphlet titled "Wonders!!! past, present and to come! being the strange prophecies and uncommon predictions of ... Mother Shipton, etc.". It has been suggested that the frontispiece engraving is by Robert Cruikshank, although the engraving is unsigned and uncredited.
