¶ Lost race adventure novel set in the American Southwest. "A geographically ignorant, weak imitation of H. Rider Haggard, stilted language and all, to which have been added dime-novel elements." - Bleiler, Science-Fiction: The Early Years. On the other hand, E.F. Bleiler's idea of great praise is "passable fair work", so this description could be translated as being quite a decent review.
