Ownership inscription on front end paper; otherwise a nearly fine copy. The British edition was published by Hutchinson in 1896. From the Stuart Teitler collection of American Lost Race Fiction. ¶ A Lost Race adventure tale of a living city of Carthaginians in Central Africa. Also prehistoric beasts in the "Cave of Sleep".
