Octavo, original green pictorial cloth designed in black, red, mauve and gilt. Frontispiece & 12 plates (one is a facsimile of a will). 374 pp. + 3 leaves of ads at rear. Ownership inscription on front end paper; otherwise a nearly fine copy. The British edition was published by Hutchinson in 1896. From the Stuart Teitler collection of American Lost Race Fiction. ¶ A Lost Race adventure tale of a living city of Carthaginians in Central Africa. Also prehistoric beasts in the "Cave of Sleep". Supernatural content. This was Stuart Teitler's copy, one of the first old fantasy books he ever bought.

Oversized and sets are shipped at cost by whatever method you choose at the time of your order. Excessive shipping amounts will be quoted prior to processing an order.
For International orders, we will always use the least expensive form of Air Mail shipping, and we will notify the customer of any shipping costs which are excessive.

For time-sensitive orders or particularly valuable items, we can always ship Express at cost.
