Top edge stained yellow. Green & yellow patterned end papers, top edges stained yellow. 278 pp. Newspaper clippings dated 1932 pertaining to the lost explorer Col P.H. Fawcett tipped to front free endpaper. The original pictorial dust wrapper was sectioned and tipped to the flyleaves, it has been removed and tipped onto plain white paper to make a mostly complete dust wrapper, the front and rear panel, spine and both flaps are present, but all are slightly trimmed.
